I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
